There has been a change in venue for tonight's volleyball matches vs. Montesano. ALL matches will be at the high school gym tonight. 7th Varsity and JV play at 4:00, 8th JV and Varsity play at 5:15. This is the season finale for girls!
HMS Volleyball: One very late edition to our weekly calendar: On Wednesday, March 29 our 8th grade varsity VB will host Miller at 4:00 p.m.

HMS Week at a Glance for the week of March 27-31. Its conference week at HMS with student led conferences happening Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 11:50-3:20 pm. Tuesday through Friday will be early release days with students dismissed at 11:20 a.m. We say goodbye to Soccer and Volleyball this week, as they play their final matches, and get ready for Track which begins on Monday, April 10. Have a great weekend!

HMS Parents and Students: We are getting close to Track season! The first practice is actually scheduled for April 10. Previous information sent out had said it was the 11th and that was my error. Please make sure your athlete has all forms completed in Final Forms prior to the first day of practice. There will be a meeting with Coach Rogers next week for any athlete interested in turning out. HMS Parents and Students: TONIGHT, My Town Coalition is sponsoring a game night for middle school students at Immanuel Baptist church from 6-8 p.m. Board games, and refreshments!

HMS Parents and Students: Reminder, Friday (today) is an early release. Students will be out at 11:20.
8th Grade Parents: Final Forms for High school cheer will be open between March 25th and April 7th. 8th grade students that would like to cheer, please get signed up on Final Forms as soon as possible. Packets will be in the office please pick one up and get them filled out as soon as you can. Tryouts will start on April 24th at 5:30 in the High School Gym.
HMS Parents and Students: We are having some issues with damaged and missing Chromebooks and power cords. After consultation with our Tech. Department we have decided that a change in course is necessary. HMS will be switching to Classroom Chromebook Carts, where students will have computers available in each of their classrooms, but will not be taking one home. On Monday, March 27, we are asking that students bring in their CHARGED chromebooks and power cords for check in. The computers will be inventoried, checked and placed into carts during spring break so that we can start fresh the following week. Thank you!
HMS Students and Parents: This Friday, March 24, My Town Coalition is sponsoring a Game Night for middle school students at Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam from 6-8 p.m.

HMS Parents: The Simpson Avenue Bridge is currently stuck open. This is impacting east bound traffic. We have no estimate for when this will get resolved, nor do we have a time table for any plans to re-direct traffic. Stay tuned for more details.

We just need to clarify that the parent event sponsored by My Town Coalition with Dr.Hudnall is THIRSDAY evening. Our original post had it as Wednesday and that was our error. Sorry for any confusion.
Parent Dinner and Presentation Thursday: My Town Coalition is pleased to welcome Dr. Hudnall, founder and CEO of HOPE Squad, as he leads an important topic for our community: Behavioral Health. This is open to all parents in the community. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. and a presentation will follow in the Hoquiam High School Little Theater. We hope you can attend!
