Week At A Glance for 4/18-22 4th Quarter starts Monday. Students will get their schedules in Homeroom. Homeroom rosters have been posted in the main entrance area by the elevator for students who have a change in homeroom.

Congratulations to our Hoquiam Middle School students of the month. Each month 8th a grade teachers select 2 students to be recognized by the Rotary Club of Hoquiam. Welcome back from Spring Break!!! We are excited to be heading down the home stretch for this school year. In the coming weeks students will begin state testing and finishing assignments and projects for the end of the school year. As a reminder if you or child experiences symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home. COVID-19 testing in school helps keep students in class and doing the things they enjoy. After being out for the last week HSD wants to remind you we offer regular COVID-19 testing at the middle school each morning starting at 7:30am. Testing is available for students, staff and families that need it. Our goal is to keep our schools healthy and safe and finish the year strong. Weekly Schedule for HMS 4/11-15 Welcome Back!

Reminder: This is conference week in the Hoquiam School District. Here is a run down of our week. School will be dismissed at 11:05 daily with lunch on a grab and go basis.

Reminder: Tomorrow-Friday, March 25 is an 11:05 release for the Middle School for Conference preparation. Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, and Wednesday March 30.

Attached is the Daily schedule breakdown for the next two weeks. Also the bell schedules for Friday, March 25, and the week of Monday, March 28-Friday, April 1.

HMS Week at a Glance for March 21-25

Today's Middle School Boys Soccer match is being moved to Sea Breeze Oval. Match time is 5:15 pm.

HMS Track & Field season begins Monday April 11th which is the day we return from Spring Break. Final Form sign ups will be open until Friday April 15th. A schedule will not be made until the week of April 18th. The season ends May 26th. We hope to see all of our fleet footed Cubs out on the track!

Congratulations to Hoquiam Middle School 8th graders Maria and Cruz for being named the Rotary of Hoquiam Clubs Students of the month for March of 2022. These students were recognized for the dedication and hard work in school as well as their actions in service to others.

The HMS Bands and Choir will be presenting their mid winter concert on Wednesday, March 16 at 7:00 PM in the Hoquiam High School Little Theater. The concert will present a wide selection of musical styles in the theme of Castles, Kings, Dragons, and Things. All concerts are free!

HMS Week at a Glance for February 28-March 4

Reminder that Monday February 28th is a half day early release for all Hoquiam School District students for district staff professional development.

A reminder that Monday, February 28 is an 11:05 a.m. early release for staff development and collaboration. Lunch will be served at the end of the day on a "to-go" basis, and students will be on a shortened period schedule.

Tomorrow (Thursday), students will be completing an athletic survey in their Homeroom classes. The Survey will be emailed out to them to their school emails tonight in preparation for tomorrow.

Alert: Premier Medical Group Covid Testing. Parents/Staff may have received a text message of covid test results claiming the test is for today. This data was being updated from previous testing and was communicated again by mistake. PMG apologizes for the confusing message and is working to correct this. If you or child did not test with PMG today then disregard the message from today. If you have any questions please contact Jason Ihde or Rhianna Culican, RN for more information.
