HMS Parents and Students: Tomorrow is the 8th Grade Moving Up Assembly! 8th graders who are taking part need to be at school and ready to walk up to HHS at 8:20 a.m. for a MANDATORY practice. The ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. at the HHS Gym. Students are dismissed at the end of the ceremony. Reminder that tomorrow is a 1:20 p.m. release for ALL HMS Students.

HMS Parents and Students: Week at a Glance for June 12-16. Note that Thursday is a 1:20 p.m. dismissal, and Friday is an 11:20 a.m. dismissal. Lunch will not be served on Friday. Big final week! Good luck to our 8th Graders next year!
HMS Parents and Students: Sarah from the Timberland Public Library will be in the cafeteria for both lunches on Thursday (tomorrow) with information on the Summer Reading Program, and the library's summer events. Please have your student check this out!
HMS Parents & Students: Week at a Glance for June 5-9. Spirit Week this week! There was an earlier post about the days. Wednesday morning our HHS seniors do their walkthrough and 8th graders go to HHS Class Day! Thursday we have a Family Math Game night at HMS, and Friday is a one hour early release, with HHS graduation at Olympic Stadium at 6:00 pm.
HMS Parents & Students: Next week is Spring Spirit Week at HMS. Here is a rundown of the days:
Monday-June 5: Decade Day-Students can choose a decade (I'm rooting for the 1780's-love me some powdered wigs!) and they dress how they THINK people dressed in those decades.
Tuesday-June 6: Duo Day- Pick a friend. Dress as something or someone that go together (Salt & Pepper, Batman and Robin, Mr. Cook and Big Bites)
Wednesday-June 7: Concert Day OR Grizzly Day- Dress in concert gear for your favorite band or performer OR deck yourself out in HHS Grizzly Gear. I would encourage the 8th graders especially to choose HHS gear, as this is also Class Day at HHS.
Thursday-June 8: BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom- PLEASE LEAVE ALL BBQ IMPLEMENTS AND JUICE BOXES AT HOME!!!
Friday-June 9: Hawaiian Day- Time to break out the most beautiful piece of fashion in the history of mankind...The Hawaiian shirt! Add some tacky tourist gear....we are talking full on socks AND sandals people!
HHS Girls summer soccer will run from June 26th through July 9th . Practices from Monday June 26th- Thursday July 6. Please make sure to sign up on the sheet in the offices at HHS or HMS for the tournament, as well as signing up for next season as well on Final Forms so we can start the season in full swing!
Summer Classic tournament in Montesano on July 7, 8, 9th --5game guarantee

HHS ASB is putting on an 8th Grade Moving Up Dance! We know this is a last minute event, but that doesn't mean it can't be great! Wear your Neon gear for a fun-filled dance on Friday, June 2nd, 8-10 pm in the HHS Student Center. The dance will be completely free and open to all students who will attend HHS in the fall (current 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students). Show up, boogie, and have lots of fun! We hope to see you there!

HMS Parents and Students: There will be a meeting for all students interested in playing football next year on Tuesday, May 23. If your student is unsure, have them attend the meeting anyways just to get information. The meeting will occur during 7th period in the cafeteria.

Just a reminder that on Monday, May 22, there is no school. It is a scheduled weather makeup day. The following Monday, May 29 is also Memorial Day, and there is no school.
Late breaking STEM opportunity this weekend. We received word of this last night and there is a tight window on registration (Thursday). There is information on the pamphlet attached to this.
