Geometry introduces students to new concepts in geometric reasoning: a study of parallel and perpendicular lines; triangle congruence, properties and attributes; polygons and quadrilaterals; similarity; area and volume relationships; spatial reasoning; circle and transformational geometry included along with integration of trigonometry and data analysis. The use of technology, including graphing calculators, is emphasized along with the integration of trigonometry and data analysis.
