Introduction to Marketing

CLASSROOM GOALS:
Marketing is designed to introduce students to the basic principles of marketing, utilizing the worlds of sport, entertainment, food and beverage industries as our primary focus. Students will learn to identify products, pricing and marketing strategies. Students will also use marketing techniques to promote school and civic events.

WAYS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN INTRODUCTION TO MARKETING:
- Respect. Respect our environment and the ideas shared within.
- Positive, professional participation is essential.
- Ask questions!
- Make up assignments promptly. Don't fall behind.
- Monitor your work station. Report any problems at once.
- Appropriate language and behavior is expected.
- Follow all school policies while in the classroom.
CLASSROOM RULES TO FOLLOW:
- Profanity is frowned upon.
- Please ensure that all Cell Phones are off during classroom hours.
- Bottled water is OK, but please make sure all other food and beverages are stored away safely.
- Tardies will be issued if you are not in the classroom after the 3rd bell. Students will be marked absent if they are more than 5 minutes late to class.
