Digital Communications

CLASSROOM GOALS:
Digital Communications is a one semester class in which you will learn to format and produce documents in various Microsoft programs, to include: Word, Excel and PPT, as well as explore other programs such as Photoshop and Prezi.
Positive Student Participation is the most important aspect of Digital Communications. You will use class time to develop and practice computer skills, to develop composition skills, and to format and edit formal documents.
WAYS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS:
- Respect. Respect our environment and the ideas shared within.
- Positive, professional participation is essential.
- Ask questions!
- Make up assignments promptly. Don't fall behind.
- Monitor your work station. Report any problems at once.
- Appropriate language and behavior is expected.
- Follow all school policies while in the classroom.
CLASSROOM RULES TO FOLLOW:
- Profanity is frowned upon.
- Please ensure that all Cell Phones are off during classroom hours.
- Bottled water is OK, but please make sure all other food and beverages are stored away safely.
- Tardies will be issued if you are not in the classroom after the 3rd bell. Students will be marked absent if they are more than 5 minutes late to class.
